Head’s Musings

Welcome to the magazine for The Kingsley School!

As I reflect on the past twelve months, I’m reminded once again of what makes this school so special: the people, the sense of purpose and the endless energy for making things happen.

This is the first time we’ve shared our magazine in an online format, and I’m sure you’ll agree it’s a great step forward. It’s vibrant, interactive, and full of life – just like Kingsley. As you click through the pages and enjoy the videos and articles, I hope you’ll get a real sense of the spirit of the school. Of course, it’s only a snapshot – the tip of the iceberg – but it gives a flavour of the breadth and depth of what goes on here every day.

We are a small school with a big heart and big opportunities. That comes through clearly in every section of this magazine, and I know you’ll feel it too as you explore what our students and staff have achieved.

Our 140th birthday has been a joyful theme running through the year. From the ‘Dress Through the Decades’ day in September, to our 140 Acts of Kindness, to celebrating 140 years of sport, drama and music – and even this year’s art competition embracing the theme of ‘Celebration’ – it’s all here, captured and shared.

I’m so proud and honoured to be the Headteacher of this remarkable school. Thank you for being part of its story.
